Abstract
To address the limitation of using single force field in the traditional smoke simulation method, we propose a real-time simulation algorithm for the multi-smoke freely fusion process with an Eulerian model. First, we present a domain decomposition algorithm on the initial setting of the scene and the smoke source position which solves the problem in the structural layer. Second, based on the law of conservation of momentum and energy, we combine the method of the local control with the integral adjustment to solve the discontinuous boundary problems. Third, we utilize a multi-color tactic to exhibit the smoke details on the density rendering issues. Finally, we improve the simulation efficiency with the GPU parallel computing and D3 D techniques to get a real-time rendering effect. The experiments demonstrate the proposed model simulates the smoke freely fusion result in an efficient and vivid way.
