Research and Development of Product-Level Three-Dimensional Parametric Design System

It is an important task for current enterprises to develop the ability of fast designing and manufacturing new product, that mainly relies on effectively accumulating and utilizing "enterprise product experiences". The shortcomings of current CAD technology were deeply analyzed. Technology of product-level 3D-parameterization design and holographic modeling——an intimate combination of geometric model with information model——were advanced and studied. A novel software system was implemented based on Autodesk MDT. It has been applied in several enterprises and can effectively support rapid design of new product and facilitate the accumulation of product development experience.
