A pattern is often composed of some elements which are provided with different grain,different color and some kinds of distribution.The variety and quality of element determines directly whether a pattern is beautiful and practical.2D-shape is the base of pattern.This paper introduces a practical method of 2D-shape design including expression and generation of 2D-shape which is proved to be a good method in our experiment.
