Multi-View Modeling and Recognition of 3D Object in Remote Sensing Images

Two dimensional aspect model projected from three dimensional general cone model is used to describe aspects of objects in various views. Geometric structural features are used for indexing the models stored in data base. Matching is composed of two stages, namely indexing and exactly matching. Both global and local verification of statistical and structural features are utilized hierarchically. The validity of this approach is verified by experiments.
