Review of Watermarking Techniques for 3D Polygonal Models

Digital watermarking techniques provide solutions to CAD products and data in copyrights protection and improve information security in collaborative design. This paper reviews the current watermarking techniques for 3D polygonal models. According to robustness, complexity and embedding location of watermarking, the paper analyzes typical 3D polygonal models watermarking algorithms and their drawbacks, then proposes some research directions and key issues in future.
