A Multi-layer Affective Model Based on Personality,Mood and Emotion

To incorporate the personality in the affective model,a multi-layer affective model is presented that simultaneously considers the influences of personality,mood and emotion.We build the mapping among personality,mood and emotion by analyzing the influences of the affect and the changing process of the human affective state.We also construct the decreasing functions with respect to the mood and affect by studying the relationship between personality and the descreasing of the affect and mood.We perform a sequence of psychological experiments to obtain various affective interaction status during the fluctuation of the affective state.The affective influence factor matrix is then generated by performing the statistical analysis to the results.Finally,a multi-layer affective model that combines the changes of the personality and mood,affective activation threshold and affective interaction is yielded.The efficiency of the proposed model is verified by comparing the predictive values of the designed affective forecasting system and the real affective understanding onto a set of images.
