A Knowledge Management System for Product form Design

A design knowledge management method,which includes explicit and tacit design knowledge about product form,is developed to improve the innovation and efficiency of industrial design solutions.According to the characters of form design knowledge and knowledge context,the method establishes the targets and builds the process of management.And by introducing the form design knowledge ontology frame and reasoning algorithm,the method can help the designers to search the cases and to reuse the knowledge.In the end,the design knowledge management system of mobile phones is built to explain and test the method.
