A BRIEF METHOD FOR CONSTRUCTING VARIOUS VARIABLE CURVES AND SURFACES

A unified representation of base function for expressing various variable cubic curves/surfaces and the quadric Bézier & B-spline curves/surfaces with control parameters is proposed. Using the medium of changeable values of control parameters to construct various curves and surfaces is a brief mathematic method for modelling. The geometric property of different kinds of curves and surfaces for corresponding modelling with different values of control parameters is also discussed in this paper.
