Virtual Interior Planning with Pen Input

A platform for virtual interior planning is developed by using pen to input interactive commands. It focuses on the role of pen in replacing the generally used Data Glove to effectively support conceptual design and real-time walk through. A set of gestures is defined to meet the requirements of interactive manipulation of 3D scene, and a hierarchical structure is worked out to support the interactive operation of pen. Some layout examples show the effectiveness of our approach.
