A GL/OPENGL BASED APPROACH FOR REGULAR DATA FIELD VISUALIZATION
The process of volume rendering regular data field in projection method is discussed in this paper. An approach for volume visualizating regular data field that based on the functions of GL/OpenGL in SGI workstation is described. The efficieny of rendering is increased becaues of the assistance of graphic hardware. The implementation of the approach, together with some exprimental results, are given in the paper.
