Adaptive Facial Feature Selection Algorithm

How to select the effective and steady facial features is an urgent task for face recognition from various face images. The paper puts forward an adaptive facial feature selection algorithm based on the analysis of current feature extraction methods. A face recognition frame based on the adaptive facial feature selection technology is first described. Then, how to set up and extract the criteria of adaptive facial feature selection is discussed in detail. Experiments on over 100 images show the correctness and effectiveness of the algorithm.
