Recognition of Machining Features Based on Divide and Conquer Strategy toward Network

Abstract
This paper presents a new approach to machining feature recognition using divide and conquer strategy. In the approach, a part is first split into several smaller objects with suitable size, then machining features recognition is performed on each smaller object. All the machining features of the part are finally obtained by synthesizing the recognized features from all the smaller objects. Some test results are given in the paper.
