Simulation of Chinese Calligraphy Based on Physical Properties of Pen,Paper and Ink

  • In this paper,a new method,which is based on physical properties of the pen,paper and ink,is introduced to simulate the particular effect of Chinese Calligraphy.Several properties which are related the art of calligraphy are extracted by analyzing the interaction among the pen,paper and ink in the writing process.Then we build a simplified model and propose an ink cross-shaped diffusion algorithm.The parameters are estimated by using the sampled data from the F-Table and few parameters are deployed.Experimental results show that this approach is able to reproduce the creating process of Chinese Calligraphy on the computer and achieve realistic simulation effect.
