Some Regular Geometric Transforms of Image in Compressed Domain

Image processing in compressed domain can enhance the overall performance and processing speed of multimedia application. We worked out seven regular geometric transform algorithms in compressed domain and realized three of them by C programming, namely mirroring about vertical, horizontal and diagonal axis. As verified by experiments, the processing speed of regular geometric transform in compressed domain is much faster than in spatial domain and the image quality is almost unaffected.
