Geometric Computing for Isogeometric Analysis

  • Isogeometric analysis method is a new approach for physical simulation and analysis based on the exact geometry representation of CAD models directly.From the viewpoint of geometric computing,we present a review on the basic framework of isogeometric analysis method,and the related work on geometric design and computing for isogeometric analysis.The research progress on analysis-suitable parameterization of computational domain,analysis-suitable spline theory,isogeometric collocation method,parallel computing for isogeometric analysis is introduced in details.Finally a few future directions of geometric computing problems in isogeometric analysis are presented.
