  • Version management is one of the most key but difficult problems in engineering data handling. In this paper, a version management model implemented in EDBMS/2 is presented, in which concepts of DBV and DBV graph are proposed. Mechanisms based on these concepts provide efficient design data management such as: multiple version control, sharing of design data, time-varying configurations and so on.
