A STUDY OF TOTAL FLEXIBLE CAD TECHNOLOGY OF DIE & MOULD BASED ON ASSEMBLY MODEL

Total flexible CAD technology is the most important progress of parametric technology．It has thoroughly improved the traditional CAD mode，and it’s a new concept．In this paper，we first introduced the total flexible CAD technology for die ＆mould design，and presented a mould design framework based on it’s flexible assembly models．Then，the methodologies to realize this framework based on T-FLEX CAD systems is discussed as an emphasis．In addition，an example is given out at the end of this paper．
