The Study of Editions Management Technique in Engineering Data Base

With the development of the CAD/CAM technique and the appearance cf the integrated manufacture system, the requirement of reserving a few data base editions in the engineering data base is more urgent than ever. This paper inquires and researches deeply multieditions management techniques, and puts forward the limited edition method and the critical edition method. This paper also discusses how to use the reserved historical data to generate the new data base editions.
