Product Lifecycle Data Modeling Based on Domain

Conventional product modeling technology is deficient in describing and managing product data throughout the whole lifecycle.This paper introduces the concept of the product lifecycle data information and the domain modeling method.As a result,a framework of domain-based product lifecycle data modeling is proposed,including the standard of defining domain and expression of the product phase model in each domain.Also the mapping rules between the product models are analyzed,which achieves the dynamic evolution and historical traceability of product data throughout the whole lifecycle.The proposed method is proved efficient.
