Numerical Method of Generating 3D Moving Mesh for Interior Space of Engine Cylinder with Valves and Ports

  • The assembled mesh is decomposed into static and moving zones.An arithmetic of enlarging and compressing grid spaces along the moving directions of piston and valves is presented.Experiments show that the 3D moving mesh is acceptable and applicable in simulating the in-cylinder process of internal combustion engine.
