Pattern Recognition with Fuzzy-Grey Approach

Some basic principles of grey relationship degree (GRD) are introduced, and a model of GRD-based evaluation is discussed. For combining with fuzzy set theory, the fuzzy relation coefficient (FRC), fuzzy relation degree (FRD) and fuzzy relative weight (FRW) are defined. By integrating them with GRD evaluation model, a concept of fuzzy grey relation degree (FGRD) is proposed, resulting in a new method of pattern recognition with Fuzzy-Grey system. Experiment results show that the method is feasible and effective.
