“3D Head Maker” Captured in a Second

In order to achieve high accuracy,fast,low-cost 3D head modeling,in this paper,we proposed a 3D head maker system,which could capture the subject in a second,reconstruct the 3D model with photo-realistic quality in 3 minutes.The system is composed of several RGB-depth cameras,configured together to cover the subject in the full field,to capture the 3D raw data in a second.The data is further processed with the consolidation,matching,surface reconstruction and coloring steps,the high-quality 3D head model is built at the end.
