Building Orebody Solid Model from Planar Contours

An algorithm of minimizing span length with control lines was developed based on features of intricate orebody planar contours.The algorithm allows user to specify control lines so that triangular net could be built among those lines.Also,an auxiliary line algorithm for solving branching problem was given. Programming and testifying have been done.The results prove that those algorithms are simple,high-efficient,and useful for developing 3D modeling software of mine.
