Real-Time Transmission and Rendering in Low-End Environment--Virtual Dunhuang Walkthrough System

  • A real-time walkthrough system for Dunhuang is described.On the basis of our system,we have experimented with the implementation of real-time transmission and rendering in low-end environment.Dynamic scheduling of texture data is well performed based on our texture-oriented cache hierarchy management,and at the same time we propose some algorithms such as user-behavior-based dead reckoning,and area of interest with selection mechanism.Final result demonstrates the values of our algorithms.
