A Parametric Design Model Based on the Mapping of Constraints for Graphical Primitives

A new approach for 2D parametric design based on the mapping of constraints for graphical primitives is presented.A data model suitable for representing the parametric design of graphical primitives,an expression of the multi-element constraint set as well as its mapping method are also proposed.Then an algorithm for solving the constraint graph is derived.Appling this method,the product design process can be carried out effectively.
