Non-Interference Modeling of Honeycomb Part for Five-Axis Machining

  • ( College of Mechanical and Energy Engineering‚Zhejiang University‚Hangz hou 310027)A global G1continuity surface model is constructed for the honeycomb part of rudder to guarantee its manufacture ability.The non-interference conditions of blending surface for five-axis machining are derived.An appropriate blending radius is chosen to improve joining strength of the honeycomb part with its paving-layer and avoid interference in the machining process. The whole surface model is obtained through surface trimming and blending.
