CAD Approach for Layout of Reinforcement in Large Volume Water Conservancy Works

Based on the original material of designing temporary ship lock gate valve well in Three-Gorge Project, the approach of developing CAD software for parameterized layout of reinforcement is presented. Large volume of reinforced concrete structures are subdivided into simple form modular building blocks to facilitate the layout of reinforcement. The automatic generation of drawings for reinforcing steel bar is illustrated.
