A MATHEMATICAL MODEL OF BOUNDARY REPRESENTATION AND ITS APPLICATION

Conventional boundary models without a well formalization can hardly represent the model hierarchy and similarity. This paper represents the boundaries of geometric models and their variation hierarchy using improved face- edge and vertex- edge incidence matrices, and studies the isomorphism and analogy of boundary models. The applications of this model in form feature definition are introduced.
