NuDraw:A Graphics-Text Editor Implemented With Object-Oriented Programming Methodology

In this paper, we present a graphics-text editor that exploits Object Oriented Programming (OOP) methodology and a network-distributed extensible window system. NuDraw ( Nanjing University Draw Program ) supports device inde pendence by using standards such as PostScript. The paper first describes NuDraw's capability, software component hierarchy and task distribution. Then it gives full discussion about some major techniques encountered in using OOP methodology to develop a graphics-text editor.
