AN EFFICIENT ALGORITHM OF MARCHING FOR ARBITRARY SURFACE/SURFACE INTERSECTION

  • This paper provides a new marching algorithm based on differential equations. This algorithm uses the new tracing formula based on differential form of intersection curve and has solved the branch problem. Comparing with previous marching methods, it is more robust and efficient and it fits to arbitrary parametric surface and implicit surface.
