A Multidisciplinary Information Modeling Method for Complex Products Based on Meta-model

  • This paper presents a multidisciplinary information modeling method for complex products based on meta-model to effectively support the information sharing in the complex multidisciplinary product design and dynamic transformation among multidisciplinary models.According to the characteristics of the complex multidisciplinary product design process, the design meta-model is introduced to abstractly express the information in the product design process.The mapping relationship between design meta-model and discipline meta-model is established, and the dynamic transformation of the disciplinary models based on meta-model is realized.Finally, a case of airplane wings proves the validity and demonstrates the application process in the multidisciplinary information modeling of complex products.
