  • This paper discusses the relationships between crane design rules and CAD system for the crane design and requirements for the crane design rule software system.According to requirement-based and system-integrated CAD system design conception,a prototype software system CRANEDR for the DESIGN RULES FOR CRANES GB3811-83is established through the adoption of OMT method,object-oriented programming and hypertext technologies.
