Abstract
In order to reduce the effect of spindle tip vibration to the quality of spinning, three states of impact process in dynamic simulation: separation—contact—impact are analyzed, non-distortion traditional impact model and contact distortion model are created. Using determinant equation of switch points, two kinds of differential/algebraic equations (DAE) for multibody system are solved to obtain the normal impact force and impulse. Adding these results to the right side of vibration differential equations in the spindle system, a new mode shape is acquired. In this paper, two kinds of dynamic simulation models of multibody systems are compared, and a new approach of taking into account the energy loss is put forward to solve the vibration control problem of high speed rotating spindle.
