HYPEROR—A HYPERTEXT，OBJECT-ORIENTED AND RELATION UNIFIED DATA MODEL

The HyperOR—— a hypertext，object-oriented and relation unified data model used in our EDBMS is presented in this paper，which fully supports the data management and tool integration for whole process of product development cycle in CAD／ CAM and CIMS application areas．The paper focuses on the evolution and unification process of HyperOR data model，then illustrates，its features of object-oriented，process management and non-linear message management with two examples．
