Workflow Model with Colored Timed Petri Net and Its Performance Analysis

To apply concurrent workflow model with colored timed Petri net to product data management system,the static and dynamic structural performance of workflow model at modeling phase is analyzed. Activity scanning is adopted as a simulation strategy to assess the behavior of workflow system.The way to transform workflow model into colored timed workflow net model is studied. The rules for verifying whether there exist deadlocks or traps in concurrent workflow are detected through reachability graph.A concurrent and looped examine-and-approve workflow with its currency control module having or-splits jumping out of function is illustrated as an example to analyze and validate the presented approaches.
