Anti-Aliasing for Radiosity Images of Complex Environments

Abstract
After examining the aliasing effects in the progressive radiosity images of complex environment, this paper presents two relevant solutions for anti-aliasing. Te first involves dynamic adaptive mesh generation depending on the relative position of the shooting patch to each receiving patch to generate exact shadow bound ary. The second involves a cutting grinding bilinear interpoktion during rendering to overcome the plaid effect. Theoretical analysis and experimental results indicate the great potential of these methods.
