AN AUTOMATIC QUADRANGULAR MESH GENERATION ALGORITHM ON 3D SURFACE

  • An automatic algorithm for generating all-quadrangle meshes on 3D surface is proposed.It is carried out directly in 3D space.It can control the size of elements and adapts itself to complex boundaries.Generation of nodes starts from the boundaries of multiple surfaces and a new method that detects collisions between node loops are presented.Two examples are given to illustrate the performance of the algorithm.
