Multi-Resolution and Hierarchy Point Model Segmenting

Based on Oriented Boundary Box Tree(OBBTree) of point cloud model, a simplified model with topological information is constructed first.Then based on this model representation, a hierarchical segmentation algorithm is implemented.To achieve good balance between speed and segmentation effect for large scale point model, the OBBTree is combined with the hierarchical point data segmentation, and a multi-resolution hierarchical point model segmentation algorithm is proposed for large scale point model.Experimental results are presented to demonstrate that the proposed algorithm is robust and efficient.
