Symbol Extraction Algorithm of Binary Engineering Drawings Based on Vectorization

Extracting symbols is an important step in the engineering drawing recognition. This paper presents a vectorization algorithm,which can transfer engineering drawing to a graph.Based on this vectorization algorithm this paper presents a symbol extraction approach which can extract all kinds of isolated and adhered together symbols effectively.
