KNOT INSERTION IMPLEMENTATION FROM RECURSIVELY INSERTION AND SKEW SHIFTING

  • The widely used algorithm for knot insertion of B-spline has raised much interest. This paper introduces the procedure of recursively insertion and skew-shifting, which is well defined and is simple in algorithm implementation. It is faster than the previous methods. This paper also presents an algorithm to generate Bezier points for each segment of the B-spline curve.
