Multi-projector Display Based on Pre-correction of the Camera

  • The geometric camera calibration is a key step in a multi-projector display wall system.It is observed that for a multi-projector display wall system calibration,the traditional linear calibration methods are not satisfactory in terms of calibration accuracy,but non-linear calibration approaches are too complicated to be practical.In this work,a novel technique is presented.After an initial linear calibration,our technique further takes into account the non-linear lens distortions through a image sampling process.The experimental results show that our proposed technique can significantly improve the accuracy of the projected images,it is simple but of practicality.
