Image Enlargement and Reduction with Arbitrary Accuracy through Scaling Relation of B-Spline

  • The continuous representation of B-Spline is generally adopted in the algorithms of image reduction and enlargement,although the algorithm is easy to understand,it is quite expensive to implement with the increase of B-Spline’s order.This paper presents a new algorithm using scaling function of B-spline wavelet to resizing image,which maintains simple and uniform coding for different order B-Spline.Different accuracy of image resizing can be achieved by setting different error bound,that controls at the same time the time of computing.
