Image Enlargement and Reduction with Arbitrary Accuracy through Scaling Relation of B-Spline

The continuous representation of B-Spline is generally adopted in the algorithms of image reduction and enlargement，although the algorithm is easy to understand，it is quite expensive to implement with the increase of B-Spline’s order．This paper presents a new algorithm using scaling function of B-spline wavelet to resizing image，which maintains simple and uniform coding for different order B-Spline．Different accuracy of image resizing can be achieved by setting different error bound，that controls at the same time the time of computing．
