A KNOWLEDGE BASED CAPP/CAM SYSTEM FOR MANUFACTURING OF TWO DIMENSIONAL MODEL

CAD/CAPP/CAM is the basis and kernel part of automated manufacturing systems such as IMS and CIMS.This paper discusses the design and implementation of a knowledge based CAPP/CAM system for the stamping dies manufacturing of flexible circuit board.We first give the architecture and functions of the system,then,introduce the knowledge and algorithms used in MEKCAM.Finally,the implementation of the system is shown.
