RESEARCH ON FEATURE BASED ASSEMBLY TOLERANCE CHAIN GENERATING AND ANALYZING AUTOMATICALLY

This paper introduces engineering semantic representation of dimensions and tolerances. A new method for assembly modeling graded with the part adjacency list and the dimension adjacency list is presented. Some optimal strategies for regulating the part adjacency link of assembly are also descibed. An algorithm to generate the tolerance chain automatically is proposed according to the information of the assembly feature, form feature, precision feature and closing link.
