A REVIEW OF MESH GENERATION METHODS FOR FINITE ELEMENT COMPUTATION

  • This review paper,by analysing and classifying the wide variety of mesh generation methods for finite element computation,provides a clear overall picture of all those methods.Specially,the performances of Delaunay Triangulation,Advancing Front and Octree Approaches are compared,and their merits and disadvantages are also discussed.This paper gives out a beneficial reference to researching and developing a new automatic adaptive mesh generator.
