Grid Service Oriented Integration of Standard Part Libraries

A service-oriented architecture to integrate existing standard part library systems （SPLS） is proposed based on open grid service architecture （OGSA）.The function components communicating with databases and CAD systems in SPLS are encapsulated in a grid service container and deployed as grid service nodes,thus realizing the integration of SPLS in grid. Existing SPLSs can be easily linked to grid just through their behavior interfaces.A successful instance validates the effectiveness of this approach.
