THE DESIGN OF ARBITRARY COMPLICATED ASSEMBLY DRAWINGS IN CAD

In this paper, the key problem of designing assembly is drawings introduced. The unified representation model of parts and components, and the classification ahd processing strategies of parts are discussed. A new contour recognition algorithm is put forward. On the basis of single part generation, Boolean operation, and contour recognition, the assembly algorithm is accomplished. The problems of location and extraction of assembly relation are solved.
