Method of Image Zooming Based on Bivariate Vector Valued Rational Interpolation

Abstract
A new method of image zooming is presented in this paper,based on the bivariate NewtonThiele's vector valued rational interpolation.By the method,first of all,a Newton-Thiele's vector valued interpolation function(surface) is constructed for the values of RGB pixels in a digital image,and then,the surfaces with different sampling rates are resampled to generate the resized image required. The experimental results show that the method can greatly improve the quality of resized images.
