A Method for Hardware/Software Partitioning Using Genetic Algorithm

Adjacent block communication partitioning model is adopted and the target architecture consists of a single microprocessor and application specific hardware component. It solves the problem of minimizing system execution time under hardware constraint. Compared with greedy algorithm, this approach can get good solution for embedded system in timely manner.
