The Finite Element Preprocessing Technique Based on Geometrical Modelling

A preprocessing system of finite element analysis based on geometrical modelling is introduced in this paper. As an interface between geometrical modelling system and finite element analysis program, this system can generate the finite element mesh from 2D object produced by GM system, densify local finite element mesh, number mesh nodes automatically, and so on, The output data file can be used by FEM program directly, The key algorithm in this paper can be extended to 3D space.
